The Dead Weather – Treat Me Like Your Mother
The track and its video are a dirt raw blend of the blackest garage-rock and grind-house cinema. If ‘Treat Me Like Your Mother’ doesn’t feature on a film soundtrack within the year I’ll eat Meg White. From the direction Jack is driving his music these days I don’t think I’d miss her, would you?
The Dead Weather line-up was revealed at the opening of Third Man Records‘ new headquarters in Nashville on March 11, 2009 and comprise of vocalist Alison Mosshart (of The Kills), drummer and vocalist Jack White (of The White Stripes and The Raconteurs), guitarist Dean Fertita (of Queens of the Stone Age) and bassist Jack Lawrence (of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes), their debut album Horehound is due for release on July 14th 2009.
Kids… semi-automatic weaponry does not make a good Mother’s day present, say it with flowers not bullets!

I’m stoked. My dad works at United Record pressing which is handling the pressing of Third Man Records. I’ve been living in a Jack White world for a while now.
